Handle With Care Seniors We are looking for ‘Day Care Centre Volunteers’ to establish and develop relationships with service users within our Day Centre in New Whittington 10am to 3pm on a Friday, providing assistance with domestic tasks, e.g. serving meals and dish washing. Working with individuals to maintain their levels of mobility and independence. Be involved with the planning and implementation of activities in the Day Centre; provide assistance on day trips; verbally report any concerns about users to the Day Centre Manager. If you have good communication skills, a liking for and empathy with older people, ability to work as part of a team, an interest in developing activities for older people then we would love to hear from you
