Alzheimer’s Society – Group Support Volunteers

Group support volunteers help to inform, educate, support and provide structured activities with defined outcomes for attendees in a relaxed and safe group setting. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers for our various groups in Chesterfield and Dronfield. You will provide support to the group leader to enable people affected by dementia to engage with and socialise with other group members or participants in a welcoming and non-judgemental environment.
Carers Support Group Second Friday of every month, 10am–12pm in Chesterfield.
Memory Café and Activity Group Volunteer Fourth Friday of every month, 10am–12pm in Chesterfield
Singing for the Brain Volunteer First Thursday of every month, 2–4pm in Dronfield
Memory Café and Activity Group Volunteer Third Wednesday of every month, 1.30–3.30pm in Dronfield
