Love books? We’re looking for enthusiastic people to help price, organise and display our wide range of donated books in our charity shop. Create exciting and eye-catching displays and inspire others to pick up a book. This is a flexible opportunity to share your love of books or to get a taster of a career in retail and you’ll be helping the charity to continue to fund our lifesaving missions.
Typical tasks include:
· Keeping our book department fully stocked with a fresh selection of donated books
· Sorting out donations of books
· Following our guidelines to value and price donated books
· Identifying rare and collectible books for online selling
· Some lifting and carrying of books involved – remember books can be heavy!
