Butterfly Survey Volunteer Hardwick

About the job role- 

  • Voluntary work
  • Walk designated route carefully recording species of Butterfly seen in each section of transect in the chart provided.
  • Complete electronic versions of records and returning them in timely.
  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors.
  • Learn about everything that is on offer at Hardwick, to answer questions from visitors.
  • Keeping in touch with the Rangers Team so you are aware of what they are doing.

Who are we looking for-

  • People who love the outdoors.
  • Basic knowledge of native Butterflies.
  • Happy to work outside in all weathers.
  • Have a medium level of fitness.
  • Confident with using maps.
  • Are friendly and approachable.
