Community Champions will help the Macmillan Expert Patient Volunteer Manager to engage with people in North Derbyshire communities. Depending on your preferences, experiences and skills, you may get involved in:

Giving out posters, leaflets and other forms of communication across North Derbyshire
Helping to man information stands and tables at events
Speaking to cancer patients, survivors, carers and their supporters
Responding to enquiries and signposting to existing services
Helping to identify emotional support needed by local people who are affected by cancer
Sharing patient stories with people face to face or in written form in newsletters, or videos or on social media platforms
Developing programme leaflets and/or social media presence
Sharing your views on programme communication approaches
