St Alban’s Tuesday Lunch club needs a cook/chef
Preparation of meals for an elderly persons’ luncheon club, including kitchen hygiene, cooking, preparation of dining room, serving, clearing away and washing up, and interaction with diners (you might call them service users). Hygiene is of the utmost importance and we receive regular guidance from the local health and food hygiene inspectorate. We are always happy to support volunteers who want to take a Food Hygiene qualification.
Tuesdays each week, from 9am to 2 pm, working in 3 ‘terms’ approximately similar to school terms. Lunch would be provided. We would be open to a long-term commitment if someone would like to offer this, but would like at least a year initially. We could consider shorter involvement if required.
