Derbyshire LGBT+ General Volunteers for LGBT group

We are Derbyshire’s only social and support group for LGBT+ people of all ages, all gender and sexual identities. We have our main office in Derby but also a new centre in Chesterfield where we currently run groups on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our organisation currently has 5 paid members of staff and a small army of volunteers.
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable volunteers who can carry out a range of tasks. We need office support, gardening, general volunteers to help at our drop-ins and volunteers who can help us run some of our groups.
Enthusiasm. Commitment. Good listener. A team player. Someone with ingenuity. Preferably from the LGBT+ community. Someone who understands the particular needs and experiences of the LGBT+ community. Someone with a sense of humour. Someone who can get along with just about anybody.
Over 18 years old. Appropriate induction, training and support given based on whatever the volunteer can offer. Friendly, well-established team to give general support to anyone wishing to join us. We are looking for someone who is flexible and can offer short or long term commitment based on whether the volunteer wants to do admin support, gardening etc. or help run groups.
