Purpose of the Role: To be part of our regular clean up group ‘The friends of the Don Valley Way’, who look after the walking trail along the Don between Sheffield and Doncaster.

• Outline of tasks and activities: There will be various tasks depending on the time of year, including: · Vegetation works (removal of foliage and invasive species etc)
• Litter picking
• Removing litter and debris from the river
• Maintaining trail furniture, information boards and our bins along the river.

Location & work hours:

The River Don and surrounding riverside green spaces between Doncaster and Sheffield. Working parties will be held around once a week on a Tuesday or Thursday morning, in either Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield locations, for approximately 3 hours each.
