Do you have a few hours a week to spare and enjoy meeting people? Are you over the age of 18? We need help to collect donated items from our supporters when they are unable to bring them into our shop themselves. You will need to be physically fit and active for this driver role due to the lifting and carrying of donation bags in and out of the vehicle. This vital role will allow us to continue collecting donations so we can keep our missions flying. Just so you know, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 or with any unspent criminal convictions. Please note this is an unpaid voluntary position in a friendly charity shop team. Typical Tasks Include:
* Collecting stock donations from people’s houses, local businesses or our donation banks and
delivering them to your local shop.
* Transferring stock between shops and our Hubs on a local level as required
* Following H&S guidelines on collections and personal safety
After you have applied, the Logistics Manager will contact you to arrange a time to chat about volunteering, which could also include a taster session. After your chat with the manager and once on-boarding has been completed, we will work with you to agree a start date.
