Drivers

We currently run groups from Broomfield Avenue, Hasland in Chesterfield , Brimington and Dronfield. We also run Dementia Friendly Walking Groups as well as a group for carers.

A free taster day is available.

We provide person centered, age appropriate activities in a structured day, where our care staff support a variety of needs and abilities. We offer a 2 course, hot meal at lunchtime.

Our Groups are fully accessible. Our groups are Dementia friendly and our staff are fully Dementia trained and have a wealth of experience in working in Dementia care.

Our aim is to reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental wellbeing while keeping service users in their own homes for longer.

Our staffing team is qualified team to provide social and personal care needs.

Transport can be provided. DCC attendance funding is available in some cases. There is a charge for our service. The group runs from 9:30 to 2:30.

The activities range from chair based exercises, reminiscence activities, crafts, quizzes, music based sessions, anything we feel a service user would enjoy.

We need volunteer drivers. they would have to use their own vehicle and have business use insurance.

We would pay milage of 40p per mile.

You will also be asked to have a DBS check which we would pay for.
