Dronfield2gether
Dronfield 10k race has taken place every spring for the past 30 years (we even managed a few virtual races in lockdown!). It raises funds for 7th Dronfield scout groups as well as other local charities.
This year’s race takes place on Sunday 27th April and involves upto 200 volunteers on the day to make the magic happen. By far the largest group is the Marshalls who are placed at all junctions around the course to support the safety of runners on the day. The race is ran on closed roads and training sessions for all the marshalls take place in the weeks leading up to the race. On the day marshalls need to be available from around 8am with finishing times between 11-12:00.
Most of our marshalls return year after year as they enjoy the atmosphere and being part of such a large and well supported community event. However, we are always in need of new recruits and we would be really grateful if you could spread the word amongst your contacts and team.
