Multi-award winning theatre group Inspirations Theatre Company are seeking a volunteer to help backstage at their musical theatre productions in the role of Stage Manager.
Overview
This position will involve acting as a liaison between different Inspirations team members, theatre staff and performers ensuring the smooth running of the stage during productions ensuring Inspirations produces the highest quality productions possible. Must have a sharp eye for detail, be comfortable using technology and have excellent organisational skills to ensure each show is produced with excellent quality.
Responsibilities
– Collaborate with the Creative Director on all aspects of the production.
– Supervise the set, lighting, and sound installation.
– Create a prompt script compiled with notes on Actors’ cues and requirements for props, lighting, and sound.
– Make alterations to the set and props between scene changes.
– Cue the Lighting and Sound Technicians.
