The key responsibility of the PAO includes the ordering and distribution of all Poppy Appeal stock in advance of the launch, Thursday 22nd Oct 2026. They will also effectively manage the recruitment and deployment of a network of volunteers for the duration of the Poppy Appeal. The PAO is responsible for the safeguarding of all money collected during the appeal as well as the counting, prompt banking and fulfilling the correct accounting procedure post appeal, with support from me throughout the whole journey.
As I am sure you are aware volunteering overall offers a unique chance to develop interpersonal skills, team ethos and a sense of purpose whilst meeting like-minded individuals.
