The ADHD Village
Volunteer with THE ADHD VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE
Help us build something from the ground up for adults with ADHD across Derbyshire.
THE ADHD VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE is an adult ADHD peer support community created from lived experience.
I went through much of my adult life with undiagnosed ADHD. Not understanding my ADHD had a significant impact on my life and contributed to me becoming quite unwell alongside living with diabetes.
My experience is a big part of why I created THE ADHD VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE. I want to create a community where adults with ADHD can feel understood and where people don’t have to face difficulties they shouldn’t have to face alone.
Now I’m looking for the right people to come alongside me and help develop and grow the Village.
Constitutional Volunteer Roles
We are looking for volunteers to join the constitutional structure of THE ADHD VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE in the following roles:
Secretary
Helping with the organisation, administration, meetings, records and correspondence of the Village.
Treasurer
Helping manage the finances and financial records of the Village.
Development Team
Working alongside the Village to help develop and shape its future, bringing ideas and skills to the development of the organisation as it grows.
There is a longer-term vision for THE ADHD VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE to develop towards becoming a CIC, and the Development Team will have an important part in helping shape that future.
Be part of the journey
This is an opportunity to become involved at an important stage in the development of THE ADHD VILLAGE DERBYSHIRE and help shape what it becomes.
If you have the time, skills, ideas or enthusiasm to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
Come and help us build the Village.
