Bolsover Woodlands Enterprise is a social enterprise based in Derbyshire. All our team members are adults who have a learning disability. Our team members are at the heart of what we do. We aim to give people with learning disabilities exciting opportunities to develop new skills, confidence and make a real difference in their communities. We deliver a range of countryside work throughout Derbyshire; making products from local timber and delivering wellbeing work through our Nature Connections project.

This may include:
- Engaging and assisting team members to complete activities
- Leading some chosen sessions with support from staff
- Assisting in the smooth running of each session
- Promoting positive shared communication between team members
- Help to educate team members about nature/ the environment
- Share skills and expertise with others
- Contribute ideas for new nature-based activities Assist with set up, tidying away and cleaning before and after each session.
What you will need:
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff and team members;
- To be able to report any concerns or issues to staff;
- To monitor team wellbeing and engagement with tasks;
- To be able to support team members to wear the correct protective equipment and stay safe;
- Understanding of basic health and safety; safeguarding; confidentiality; equality and guidance.
- To demonstrate initiative and be able to adapt to new situations.
